DermEden Night Protocol Intense Night Cream is a concentrated night cream that works while the skin is at its most receptive, to smooth, brighten and hydrate. Its formula combines encapsulated retinol, Grade S niacinamide, dioic acid and hyaluronic acid with a gentle blend of glycolic and salicylic acids. Overnight, it exfoliates the surface, refines skin texture and targets the look of wrinkles and dark spots.

Key Benefits

  • Smoother-looking skin: encapsulated retinol and niacinamide help soften the look of wrinkles and fine lines and support firmer, more elastic-looking skin.
  • Fewer visible dark spots: dioic acid and niacinamide help fade the look of brown spots for a more even tone.
  • Gentle peel effect: glycolic and salicylic acids exfoliate dead skin cells and refine skin texture.
  • Plumping hydration: hyaluronic acid plumps the skin and helps it hold water.
  • Radiant morning skin: the complexion looks brighter and fresher when you wake up.

Key Ingredients

Encapsulated retinol is released gradually into the skin, for better tolerance and less redness than classic retinol. Grade S niacinamide is a pure, well-tolerated form. Dioic acid, obtained by biofermentation, helps even out skin tone, while non-cross-linked, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid plumps and hydrates.

Pair it with the Intense Serum from the DermEden Night Protocol, a range developed in France by a dermatologist.

How to Use

Use every evening on clean skin. Take an amount about the length of your fingertip, from the tip to the first joint, warm it between your hands, then smooth it over the whole face with circular movements from the center outward, keeping away from the eye area. Repeat on the neck and neckline. Start every other evening and increase as your skin gets used to it; a light tingling is normal. Apply a sunscreen every morning.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I start using the retinol in DermEden Intense Night Cream?

Start slowly. DermEden uses a gentle encapsulated retinol, released gradually, together with a mild AHA complex. The brand recommends applying the cream every other evening at first, then increasing the frequency as your skin tolerates it. The peel effect of the formula can cause a light tingling.

Why can DermEden Intense Night Cream tingle on the skin?

Because of its active acids. Glycolic and salicylic acids give the cream a lower pH than the skin, so a light tingling on application is common. If it feels too strong, lasts or comes with marked redness, DermEden advises spacing out applications or switching to its gentler Night Protocol Intense Serum.

Can I use DermEden Intense Night Cream in the morning?

No. The formula contains AHAs, which make the skin more sensitive to light, so DermEden strongly recommends using it only in the evening. Apply a sunscreen every morning while you use it, to keep your skin protected during the day.

When will I see results with DermEden Intense Night Cream?

Some effects show quickly: DermEden notes a smoother skin texture within the first week, thanks to the surface exfoliation. Deeper results on the look of dark spots, wrinkles and elasticity take longer, so use the cream regularly for one to three months, as the skin renews itself about every thirty days.

How does DermEden Intense Night Cream work overnight?

It uses the night, when the skin is most receptive. Its HA Complex of glycolic, dioic and salicylic acids gently speeds up the renewal of surface cells and removes dead cells, so fresher-looking skin shows through. Encapsulated retinol, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid help smooth, even out and hydrate.
