The Vitavea story starts in 1975, when Yves Ponroy, a biologist and nutritionist, founded a biological research institute and the Yves Ponroy laboratories. Collagen comes as hydrolyzed fish collagen, broken down into smaller peptides so it blends into a drink, while Collagen Expert uses eggshell membrane, the thin layer between the shell and the white of an egg.
